Time flies...

Happy New Year 2020!

Wow! 2020 and over a year since I've been here.
Weren't we just freaking out that it was Y2K and panicking that our computers might not work on January 1, 2000?
That couldn't be 20 years ago? Really?

To catch you up with my life, I've started writing a book (Wow, again) joined a local church and found my deep spirituality again.

Not quite sure what my plans are for this blog. Still pondering that one. Lots of thoughts on the subject, just can't quite pin it down yet. But I do have a love for writing and sharing with you.

My favorite quote I recently read somewhere and I'm sorry that I don't know who said it is:

                     "I'm about to walk into the greatest year of my life!"

That's my plan.

You will have to copy and paste the link, because mine don't seem to be working the past couple of days. (Growl, growl, grumble, grumble.) Don't know why. I'm linking like I always have. Very irritating, to say the least.

She gives us a roadmap to study Philippians 4:8-9. I am choosing to do these 4 things:
1. Cross reference - Read 5 translations. (I use Biblegateway.com for this. I have the link in my right sidebar)
2. Resources - Bible dictionary and concordance.
3. Commentaries - read at least two
4. Holy Spirit - Pray for guidance.

I will report my findings tomorrow.

My Spiritual Journal for this week.

I'm really having fun with the White Rabbit. The purple arrow has the scripture from

Matt 28:7 "Then go quickly and tell His disciples: He has risen from the dead..."

When you open the flap you see the White Rabbit running quickly. Makes me smile.

Wet Wednesday

     Glorious rain! Filling up the creeks, filling in the cracks, filling up the thirsty earth and nourishing each leaf and soul.  I feel refreshed.
