Let Us Give Thanks - Day 11

Day 12 - 30 Day Thanksgiving Prayer Challenge by Rosilind
2Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of Him everywhere.

Write the verse in your Prayer Journal and pray it throughout the day.

Psalm 107:1-3 (NIV)

Give thanks to the Lord,
for He is good;
His love endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord
tell their story - those He
gathered from the lands,
from east and west,
from north and south.

Write this verse in your journal. Add art, if you so desire.

Other translations

KJV
O give thanks unto the Lord,
for He is good:
for His mercy endureth for ever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
whom He hath redeemed from the land of the enemy;
And He gathered them out of the lands,
from the east, and from the west,
from the north, and from the south.

MSG
Oh, thank God - He's so good!
His love never runs out.
All of you set free by God,
tell the world!
Tell how He freed you from oppression,
then rounded you up from all over the place,
from the four winds,
from the seven seas.

redeemed - saved - recovered - reclaimed - restored

Nelson's Bible Commentary
The key point of this psalm is that God's mercy endures forever. He is always willing to restore those who call on Him.

Art and Faith Journal

Using colored pencils, I made a scroll, then shaded and colored it. I used a brown micron pen to print the verse.

Phil 1:4
In all my prayers for all of you,
I always pray with joy.
